Injections for the eye

Patients with wet macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion require regular eye injections to help control these conditions and preserve vision.

These injections work by reducing swelling, preventing further damage, and stabilizing or improving vision over time.

At each visit, we carefully monitor your progress to ensure the best possible care. We will check your vision, measure your eye pressure, and dilate the eye receiving treatment. Every third visit, or if there are any sudden changes that need further investigation, we will dilate both eyes to get a more comprehensive view of your retinal health. We also take detailed scans and photographs of your eyes to track any changes over time. Your eye doctor will review all of this information and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

If both eyes are dilated or if you need to wear an eye patch after the procedure, please arrange for someone to drive you home, as your vision may be temporarily affected. We are here to support you throughout your treatment, so feel free to ask any questions at your appointment!
